(More customer reviews)We currently have the Skylink SC-100 system with the addition of 7 vibration sensors mounted on various windows. In operation for approx 1 month. While set to max sensitivity, banging on the window will trigger the alarm. Only issue so far - during the first thunderstorm of the season, a nearby lightning strike rattled the windows of our house, setting off the alarm. No other issues so far.
The concept of this sensor seems much more effective for window security than a contact switch as a burglar could break out the entire glass pane and not disrupt a switch.
