(More customer reviews)This device works great. I have it on my garage door and the signal goes through/around our van, and through a wall and our entertainment center. You MUST follow the instructions and use the magnet only on the side of the sensor with the grey mark on it. If you put it on the opposite side, the magnet will need to be nearly in contact with the sensor to work. Using the magnet and sensor as instructed, you can span a gap of about a half an inch before the sensor trips the base unit. Highly recommended!!
