(More customer reviews)I wanted to understand which part is actually the remote control. Unfortunately, instead of the product description, there is a long advertisement written by an excited idiot. I found the product manual on the manufacturer's website. It's not very clear, either, but it mentions in passing somewhere in the middle that the remote is IR (and it's probably the small rectangular thing on the bottom). This means it will have to be in direct view of the thermostat.
