(More customer reviews)Wireless range through an exterior wall is only about 20ft, so I had to get multiple access points and install them close to each motion sensor (which may limit your ability to send the signal to a phase that doesn't have a circuit near the motion sensor). The time delay knob is REALLY hard to tell what result you will get (no time markings) so you have to set it, activate with motion, and time it with a stop watch. While I mounted under roof overhang, it would be nice if these actually had rubber gaskets to make them officially outdoor units. It could be smaller to be more "invisible" but it's not bad. The ball joint allows you to fine tune the aim, while also making it stick out more and be more visible. I'm not sure what the battery life will be like under use (9V) but Smarthome says lithium 9V batteries will give you 4x the life in these motion sensors.
