(More customer reviews)When I ordered this, the description showed the ELK 1280, but included something to the effect that a substitute might be sent, and it was. J. A. Mac shipped it right away, and it arrived in good shape. I ordered it as a replacement for the back-up ELK 1280 in our alarm system, and the fittings and size were the same. I wasn't sure if the system would lose the settings when I switched batteries, but it continued to get power from the AC transformer, so there was no problem.

(More customer reviews)As the previous reviewer stated the battery is advertised as a 12v 4Ah battery and what I received was a 12v 5Ah battery; However, after reading his review I checked around on the internet and found that the 12v 5Ah is a common replacement battery for most alarm systems. So far the battery has worked for ours. This battery was the most economical one including shipping and handling. The battery arrived promptly along with an instruction page for charging tips. We placed the battery in the alarm system and in about 4hr of charging the battery indicator was turned off showing that there wasn't any battery problems. I would have given 5 stars if the seller would have simply explained about the replacement issue.

12 Volt 7 Amp Hour Alarm Battery Review

(More customer reviews)Didn't receive the Toyo battery by Interstate. That was what I ordered but receive a sub. It's a Universal Battery UB1270 P. Seems to work just fine. Took the 14 year old YUASA out hooked up new all seems well. Now, just to see how long these last.
The only reason I ordered the Toyo by Interstate was we use Interstate in our 72 Ford tractor and a couple of our classic cars. They have a good rep.
Shipped on time.
Gave 4 stars but only because all was shipped on timely base, arrived on in tack, and works. Depending how long these last a higher mark may be called for.
