(More customer reviews)I bought this product and the retailer that sold it is great, so don't confuse them with the manufacturer. The manufacturer touts great customer service, but it is all lip service. The product was junk, out of the box and I elected to deal with the manufacturer rather than return it to the retailer. Big mistake. I first called their "tech department" who ran me through a bunch of steps and they concluded that it was faulty but that i would need to contact customer service for a "quick return" and that the would immediately send me a new one. However, calling the customer service department, it took me a week to finally talk to someone. (no, they don't return calls or emails the same day as they promise). In fact, they have no time for complaints and don't know how to resolve them. When I explained that the product simply did not work, they told me that I could send it back, but that i would be charged for the shipping back as well as $50.00 per hour if I was wrong, and "...they were sure that I was." Well, I returned the item, they took over 30 days, I emailed asking when I could expect the item back which I assume prompted them to mail it back because it arrived a week later. The sent me back an old box, with the mounting screws (minus one) just thrown in and rattling around leaving me thinking that they unit was damaged in shipping until I opened the box. (The mounting screws hadn't been opened out of the plastic when I sent it back). When I received it back, it did work. They also sent me a photograph of it working and the workers taunting me (really, no kidding). The taunt was a photo copy of a photo of a worker holding the product with an "E" which appears on the screen, which their "tech department" had told me indicated "error" and which they said was one of the indicators that the unit was faulty. I had brought this up to their "customer service" who said that I was wrong, thus the taunt upon it's return. Upon receipt of the new/repaired item, it does work. Bottom line, the product is junk and the company is simply not worth the trouble.
