(More customer reviews)I bought the four channel Lorex Edge+ with two cameras because I did not want to invest too much in the system if it turned out to be a bad system. It turns out to be a good digital wireless system full of features. I wish I would have ordered the 8 channel for expansion capability.
I will order two more cameras to complete my system.
Installation is not hard since only power has to be run to the cameras. I went to Lowes and bought weatherproof outlet enclosures to protect the power converter that attaches to the camera and installed the outlets where needed. The cost of the hookup was about $75.
I have full signal through walls from the cameras. The DVR is full featured. I was disappointed when the DVR did not play through my HDTV but I can run through my computer monitor without the computer on or through the web with the computer on. It also has remote viewing when you are away from home. The features take a little time to master on the computer, but once familiar, you will appreciate all it can do.
An excellent buy, I highly recommend.
